Photo requirements for portraits

For a good portrait the picture has to be sharp not blurry with good detail of the eyes and nose, preferrably 5x7 or larger. I prefer to take the shots myself but sometimes cannot be done due to distance. A few photos is ideal with the dog in full view, standing or sitting is better than lying down or on the move. Some photos can be wonderful but there are specifics for drawing a portrait.

All paintings are subject to a deposit, a preview will be available or you can see the stages of the painting as they progress. If you are unhappy with the final portrait a full refund of deposit will be provided. The final Painting will be paid for in full before posting or collection.

A Pastel Portrait of your pet from photographs.

Commission paintings are done to preference, all materials used are of high artists quality. I work in various sizes from 8" x 6" upto A1.

Single, double and group shots can be done. Your pets dont need to be pictured together to be painted together.

Cats, dogs, rabbits, guinea pigs or even horses, if you want them all together this can be achieved.

All paintings can be posted anywhere in the world and will be either flat packed and protected, or rolled in a tube, you choose how you want it.

The time scale of a portrait from Recieving a photograph to the finished portrait varies on the subjects, size, and time of year. Please allow at least 6-8 weeks before the christmas period. Usually Portraits are finished in 2-4 weeks including postal system for UK. I will try my best to accomodate your requests.

***Note***

Some times volumes of work are higher tham usual, the time may be increased by 1-2 weeks. This will be discussed at the time of purchase.
